Our Mission

The mission of the Voyageur School District is to prepare students to be College Ready and College Bound. This mission will be achieved through the foundational pillars of Discipline, Focus and Hard-Work;  Perseverance and Character; and the humanitarian pillars of Empathy and Compassion.

Our Vision

​Voyageur Academy empowers students with the academics and social skills to excel to and through college and become global leaders who will positively impact the city of Detroit.

Our History

​Voyageur Academy is an elementary and middle school founded in 1998 and we proudly serve the students and families of Detroit’s greater metropolitan area. We join Voyageur College Preparatory High School in providing students with quality education, character development, and the knowledge and skill set necessary to assist them in persevering through life challenges and becoming successful.
